ABSTRACTS: The organising committee welcomes the submission of abstracts, CDRoms and tapes on a wide variety of topics in humour, health and education. Papers can include oral presentations, performance papers, image papers, posters and other types of presentations. Priority will be given to scholarly research into the nature, uses and effects of humour, but other types of presentations will also be considered. All papers presented will be pubished in the refereed Conference Proceedings. Presenters are offered a 20% reduced conference registration fee.

YOUTH STREAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: This segment of the conference will include oral presentations; workshops to develop skills in radio humour, standup and other types of comedy; and comedic performances. If wishing to present a paper or other contribution please send a synopsis, CD or tape of your proposed presentation.

Submissions must be received by 31 August 2006

Session topics will be decided based on the abstracts submitted.
